The Architecture and nostalgia series is a series of at least nine works (S124, S125, S134, S139, S254, S265, S270, S271, S272) but probably more. We do not have accurate information about the exact number of works in this series, as our source (the Breda Catalog) only goes as far as S272. Someone has written additional numbers in handwriting in the Breda Catalog and there the series counts up to S404. That would bring the total in this series to more than 25. However, we have no confirmation of this for the time being.
All the works in this series are architectural compositions, no plants, no creatures, no heaven, although this is mainly due to the fact that the viewing angle in these works is always high. This kind of modernism is so sure of its superiority that it allows itself far from reverential behavior against the old styles. That is why this series is called Architecture and nostalgia, says Delhez.
This work is the 11th in the series and the creation date or the date when it was finished is unknown since our source (The Breda Catalog) only counts to S274 in the Sortiment series, but it was almost for sure created in Chacras de Coria (Argentina).
The work has minor damage. The house at the bottom left has a small brown spot, therefore ½ of the normal price for this series.
